House of Kolor S2-26 SHIMRIN2 Bright White Paint Kit with RU311 Reducer

The House of Kolor has launched the Shimrin2 S2-25 and S2-26 Solid Basecoats, significantly improving their product lineup. The Jet Black has become even blacker, and the Bright White, whiter, elevating The Best to an even higher level. Customers can now color outside the lines and add FX Effect pacs for that extra touch of flair.

Shimrin2 is the second generation of the renowned Shimrin Basecoat technology, first introduced in 1982. As the next phase of groundbreaking universal basecoats from House of Kolor, this new iteration boasts innovative polymer chemistry, enabling it to surpass waterborne systems while maintaining a solvent-based formulation tailored for Kustom Painting.

The Shimrin2 S2-25 Jet Black and S2-26 Bright White are universal basecoats that can be cleared for a final finish or used as a foundation for other Shimrin2 standard basecoats, including Kandy Basecoats and custom Kustom Kreations. The deepest black and the brightest white are must-have components in every painter's arsenal.

Despite being a solvent-based system, Shimrin2 complies with all VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) regulations across the United States, including the stringent standards in California.

The Shimrin2 product comes in a 32 oz (1 Quart) container, accompanied by 1 Quart of RU311 Reducer. The cured color is white, and the components include:

• S2-25 Jet Black or S2-26 Bright White Shimrin2
• RU310 Fast Reducer (65°F to 75°F)
• RU311 Medium Reducer (75°F to 85°F)
• RU312 Slow Reducer (85°F to 95°F)
• RU313 Very Slow Reducer (95°F to 100+°F)
• RU300 - LV Cool Weather Reducer (70°F to 85°F)
• RU301 - LV Warm Weather Reducer (85°F to 100+°F)
• Optional: S2 FX Effect Pacs

The mixing ratios are as follows:

National Rule Solid Color: 2:1 by volume, with 2 parts Shimrin2 Solid Basecoat (S2-25 or S2-26) and 1 part RU Reducer (RU310, RU311, RU312, or RU313).

California Rule: 2:1 by volume, with 2 parts Shimrin2 Solid Basecoat (S2-25 or S2-26) and 1 part RU Exempt Reducer (RU301 or RU302).

Optional - Mixing S2 Fx Effect Pacs with solid bases: 3:1:2 by volume, with 3 parts Shimrin2 Solid Basecoat (S2-25 or S2-26), 1 part S2-FX Effect Pac, and 2 parts RU Exempt Reducer (RU300 or RU301) or standard RU Reducers (RU310 - RU313).

Note: For airbrush application, the mixture should be reduced to the desired strength for all mixing ratios.
