The House of Kolor Shimrin2 (2nd Gen) Designer Pearls offer custom painters the freedom to design, invent, and create "one-of-a-kind" custom paint jobs. The Deep Lilac Pearl Basecoat, a 1 Pint (2:1 Mix) Aerosol Spray Can, and the Lite Teal Pearl Basecoat S2-Pbc57 are two examples of the diverse range of designer pearls available.

All Shimrin2 Designer Pearls can be mixed at a ratio of 2 parts Pbc to 1 part reducer, though a 1 to 1 ratio is recommended for easier control, especially with lighter-shaded Pbc's. These designer pearls are designed to be top-coated with HOK Clears, either in acrylic lacquer or urethane enamels.

The Shimrin2 Designer Pearls also have the option of being Kandied, using either acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel. When Kandying with acrylic lacquer, the finish must also be cleared with acrylic lacquer. Conversely, if Kandying with urethane enamel, the finish must be cleared with urethane enamel.

The freedom to mix and match these designer pearls, along with the flexibility to choose between acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel for top-coating and Kandying, allows custom painters to unleash their creativity and produce truly unique and inspiring paint jobs.
